Share something useful.
A drill for a quick fix. A ladder for the weekend. Camping gear for a few nights away. Good things are often already close by.
Neighbors share more
Need a drill, a ladder, or camping gear for the weekend? Borrowly is being built to help neighbors share the useful things they already have.
The street pilot is still in setup. Borrowing and item requests aren’t open yet.
First up
One street. 40 homes.
The idea
A QR sticker can turn the drill in someone’s garage into an easy introduction. When Borrowly opens on the pilot street, a neighbor can scan, sign up, and ask to borrow it.
A sharing flow we’re preparing — not open yet.
A drill for a quick fix. A ladder for the weekend. Camping gear for a few nights away. Good things are often already close by.
The plan is to put a Borrowly QR sticker on a shared item. A neighbor who spots it can scan to find the item and ask to borrow it.
A borrower can invite another neighbor and, in time, list something of their own. Each useful object can make the next introduction easier.
Start small, stay neighborly
The rollout plan begins on one street with 40 homes, then grows to a zip code and eventually a city. A close-knit start gives neighbors a better chance of finding what they need nearby.
The growth goal
>1
invite per person
Invites per user is the number to watch. The goal is for each person to bring in more than one neighbor, so sharing can carry the story along the street. This is a target, not a result to date.
A little less stuff sitting idle
Borrowly is getting ready for its first neighborhood pilot. You can create an account now; borrowing hasn’t opened yet.
